Klimt's Gold (with detail photo )

22 x 37" $400

Inspired by the byzantine style of Gustav Klimt, particularly the robes in his painting "The Kiss". Constructed of cottons, silks, lame, brocade fabrics and heavily quilted with cotton thread. This piece was juried into the 2005 Fabric of Legacies exhibit in Fort Collins and the 2006 Furnishings & Fiber art show in Steamboat Springs.

Russian Cathedrals (with detail photo below)

29 x 37" $400

Inspired by the cathedrals in Moscow, produced in an analogous color scheme of hand dyed and commercial fabrics, hand beaded and machine quilted in cotton and metallic threads. This piece was juried in the 2005 Pacific International Quilt Festival and the 2006 Denver International Quilt Festival and also has been photographed to be published in the Quilter's Newsletter Magazine

Constructed of cotton commercial fabrics and heavily quilted with cotton thread


Nautilus (with detail photo below)

20 x 20" $150

Constructed of hand dyed and commercial fabrics, machine applique, hand beading and heavily embroidered, quilted and edged by hand using perle cotton thread.

Sticks and Stones

18 x 20" $150

Constructed using commercial cotton fabrics, various couched yarns and fibers, hand beading, machine quilted, and edged with perle cotton by hand. This piece was juried into 2006 LowerTown Arts Walk in Paducah, KY

What a feast for the eyes! Thanks for sharing all your wonderful quilts. I was intrigued to find your Russian Cathedrals quilts. Is that St. Basil's? I'm in the research stage of making a quilt of St. Basil's Cathedral myself, actually searching for a suitable photo would be more like it.
